Shawish’s flagship store and studio sits in the idyllic heart of Geneva’s old town.  Under the direction of its powerful artistic and creative force, Shawish is the result of years of planning and an intense interest in the diamond industry. Shawish’s dynamic owners are fascinated with the world of gems and it was during their formal education that they fell in love with the beauty and endless possibility of diamonds.

Already making waves in the global media for pushing the boundaries in design, craftsmanship and quality of stones, Shawish’s most sought-after pieces include rings incorporating tiny interchangeable feathers, domed sapphires filled with crushed diamonds, and a sculpted bird ring graced with a long kinetic tail.

Poetic Inspiration
Inspiration is drawn from a variety of global cultures. However, it is poetry that underscores all Shawish designs. “Our jewellery represents a combination of sophistication and beauty combined with an exclusive touch of luxury to make our collections truly exceptional.” Channeling a unique artistic aesthetic, Shawish holds a romantic feminine sentiment.

Craftsmanship
Shawish jewellery is distinguished by attention to detail and extreme rigour throughout the manufacturing process. The jewellery is assembled in-house by a team of highly skilled craftsmen in a workshop adjoining the Shawish showroom. Working in close proximity with artisans allows complete control over all stages of production from the initial faceting of the stones to polishing and assembly – all carried out to Shawish’s own exacting standards.

New Frontiers
Shawish secured the copyright for the all-diamond ring one year ago in Geneva. It took one year to get the copyright and Shawish had to undergo multiple tests with the design to get the precision of the circle right using special laser equipment to cut directly into the diamond. “The most important aspect is preserving the integrity of the diamond and of course the most difficult phase is precision cutting an entire stone into a ring.” Shawish is now in search of the perfect hand to create the £43million, 150-carat masterpiece.
